Rate is $2.00 per page (12 pt, double spaced, Times New Roman, Word doc). Primary edits include general formatting (line spacing, indents, etc). From when we begin your edit, primary edit generally will take 7-10 days up to two weeks to ensure you get an in-depth edit.
* Final Editing: For those who want a once-through edit, or have already been through the primary editing process with us or someone else. During a final edit, we will do a once-over look for over-all flow, continuity and spelling/grammar. Rate is $1.25 per page (12 pt, double spaced, Times New Roman, Word doc). Final edits include general formatting (line spacing, indents, etc). Final edits will take approximately 3-7 days.
* Description Editing: Your book is ready! Now you need to have an out-of-this-world description for Amazon etc. During a description edit, we will do a once-over look for over-all flow, continuity and spelling/grammar of the book description Amazon and other sellers use on your Buy Page. Flat rate of $15 per description for non-clients, $5 for EALSC clients (12 pt, double spaced, Times New Roman, Word doc). Book description edits will take approximately 1 day. Fee due prior to return of description, not subject to the 30% due prior to beginning.
* Academic editing (term papers): Includes an in-depth look at grammar, spelling, flow, sentence structure, paragraph placement, as well as assurance that listed sources are in correct format designated for your paper (APA, MLA or Chicago). Rate is $15 for up to 5 pages, $20 up to 10 pages, $1.50 per page will be added for papers over 10 pages. Please submit as a Word document, Times New Roman 12 pt., double spaced. Term paper edits will take approximately 3-5 days, longer papers will add to finish time.
* Academic editing (thesis papers): Includes an in-depth look at grammar, spelling, flow, sentence structure, paragraph placement, as well as assurance that listed sources are in correct format designated for your thesis (APA, MLA or Chicago). Flat Rate is Bachelor's Thesis: $100, Master's Thesis: $130. Please submit as a Word document, Times New Roman 12 pt., double spaced. Edits will take approximately 7-14 days.
* ESL Edit: Is English your second language? Have you written a book in English and want to make sure it makes sense to English-speaking readers? Let us go through your manuscript and edit for grammar, spelling, accuracy and structure to polish your work for your English-speaking fans. Rate is $3.25 per page (12 pt. double spaced, Times New Roman, Word doc). ESL Edits may take up to three weeks, depending on the amount of editing needed for proper flow/grammar/etc.
* Tense Change: Sometimes, one might find that a story flows better in a tense other than the one in which the story is written. We will do tense change for you for $1.00 per page (12 pt, double spaced, Times New Roman, Word doc). Tense change will take approximately 3-7 days depending on how long your manuscript is.
